Imported furniture arrives sized for a different climate and a different room. Ours is cut, upholstered and finished in Lagos — in fabrics that survive humidity, on frames built for floors that are never quite level.

A rounded corner chair in cream bouclé with a low, wide seat. Sized to fit a Lagos apartment corner without swallowing the room.
A rattan-shaded floor lamp on a turned oak stem. Throws a wide, warm pool of light — the kind you read under after the generator goes quiet.
Hand-spun brass with an unlacquered finish that darkens as it ages. Dimmable, E27, and supplied with 3 m of braided cord.
Juniper started as a two-bench upholstery shop in Yaba, rebuilding other people's sofas. Ten years later we design our own, but nothing has really changed: the same joiners, the same insistence on sitting on a prototype before it goes on the floor.
Wood comes from Ondo, clay from Abeokuta, and the weaving from a co-operative in Kano we have bought from since our first year.

Take fabric and wood samples home for a week. Colour behaves differently in Lagos light, and we would rather you saw that first.
Frames are cut and upholstered in our workshop. You get photos at the frame stage and again before it's wrapped.
Our crew delivers inside a two-hour window, assembles in the room, levels everything and takes the packaging with them.
“The sofa arrived at 9.40 for a ten o'clock window, and the crew built it in the room without a single scuff on the wall. Two years on it still looks the way it did that morning.”
“We furnish short-lets for a living. Juniper is the only supplier in Lagos who has never once moved a delivery date on us.”
“I sent them a fabric from my mother's house and they rebuilt an armchair around it. That is not a service you find here often.”
The floor is open six days a week and there is no appointment needed. Bring your dimensions, leave with samples.
